2E 497

As your men gather up the prisoners taken after the battle at Castghin, you tell them to kill them all. You loath doing it, but the king says that cruel, but necessary lessons need to be given to those who appose Munising.
Since there are no more who can pose a threat to Munising, you decide to let the men rest for a while before going back to Petoskay, but the king sends a message telling you to start the trip immediately, though he doesn't tell why you can assume from the massage that Petoskay isn't under attack.
After you tell your men that they must return to Petoskay right away, they become angry, but joyful that they may see their homes again.

Swordsman: Sir, we cannot keep going at this rate, we must rest.
You: No, the king wishes us to return home as fast as possible and there is still plenty of daylight left.
Swordsman: We wouldn't even need to tell the king we rested! He doesn't know when we left so...
You: This isn't about pleasing the king, but honoring him. My first loyalty is to my king and country.
Swordsman: Humph, I think the king is crazy to send us hoe this soon after the battle. And the fact that he didn't send Aiadial's army to help us! He should value his friend so much that---
  Scout: AMBUSH!
                         [You start giving orders immediately]
You: Men group into defensive positions, and don't let them brake the line! These mere bandits can't beat us!
[Arrow fire starts coming down from cliffs on both sides of your army]
You: Archers! Shoot the men on the cliff! We cannot let them pick us off!
